The objective of an Energy and Emissions Audit for Indian Schools is to systematically assess energy use, identify inefficiencies, and quantify greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (Scope 1, 2, and Scope 3), with the aim of improving sustainability, reducing operational costs, and contributing to national and global climate goals.
The Audit checks for effectiveness of the Energy & Emissions Management practices should be based on data, measurements and targeted improvements towards goals mentioned in the School’s policy.
This self-audit is a means to self-assess the current status of water, waste, trees, energy in your institution. This forms the baseline and future progress can be referenced to the baseline. Please answer questions wherever possible to the best of your ability.
