Association of Past Xavierites ( APX ), the alumni/ae association of St.Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall Ahmedabad, facilitated two football friendly matches versus the Golden Katar ( Army ) Engineering team. They requested some practice matches as they are preparing for the all India Army football tournament which begins from June 26th.

The first of the two was played on Saturday, June 13th vs the u-17 Loyola Football Academy and the second on Sunday, June 14th vs APX. The visitors won 3-1 in the first practice match whilst the APX team prevailed 1-0 in a cracker of a game, till the final whistle it was a fast paced game and absolutely in sync with the ongoing FIFA ⚽️ World Cup in USA, Canada and Mexico. It’s football fever and these two games showed the connect of APX with sports, and what a platform sports is, to play and perform, meet & greet, network and create new memories whilst remembering the old ones.
