LESA honoured with the ‘Crusader of Sight’ award
The Loyola Ex-Students Association (LESA) was recently honored with the ‘Crusader of Sight’ award. This recognition was for their commendable initiative in organizing a vision screening camp for primary school students at Loyola High School.
Award Presentation and Recognition
The award ceremony was held at Club Harmonia in Margao, where LESA was felicitated by the Nave Marg Foundation. The award acknowledges LESA’s commitment to community welfare and proactive health initiatives. The vision camp, which took place during the 2023-25 presidential term of Dr. Lenny Da Costa, played a crucial role in identifying and addressing potential vision problems among young students.
Representing LESA
Receiving the award on behalf of the LESA Managing Committee were Mr. Raul Vas and Mr. Rohit Ferrao. Their presence at the event underscored the collective effort and dedication of the entire association in making the vision screening camp a success. This initiative highlights LESA’s ongoing efforts to give back to the school and the wider community.
