Loyola Margao batch of 1975 celebrates golden anniversary
The Loyola High School, Madgaon (Margao), Goa Batch of 1975 (Old Course) celebrated their Golden Anniversary with great joy and nostalgia. The celebration began with a solemn Holy Mass at the school chapel, offering prayers of gratitude and remembrance.
This was followed by a heart-warming reunion at Clube Harmonia, Margao, where batchmates gathered alongside some of their former LOYOLA 50 teachers to relive old memories. The evening was filled with laughter, camaraderie, fun, and games. Highlights of the celebration included the ceremonial cutting of the cake and a heartfelt toast raised by their classmate and former Judge, Desmond D’Costa. Teacher Lolita Carvalho also addressed the gathering with touching words of reflection.
A live virtual connection was arranged
for classmates abroad who could not attend in person, allowing them to join in the celebration. The batch also contributed a large amount towards upgradation of existing ICT infrastructure of the School, with a promise to contribute more in the future. Mementoes were presented to all attendees, and Cedric’s one-man band added to the festive spirit with his melodious performance, making it a truly memorable evening.
