Today, January 10, 2026, The Ex-Xavierite’s Association Surat (TEXAS) hosted a heart-warming Patang Mahotsav Celebration Which brought together students with special needs and Texas partnered with mentally challenged students from Mamta School and hearing-impaired students from Kikabhai Premchand School, ensuring a day of shared joy and barrier-free festivities.

The school grounds were filled with music and dance, creating a high-energy environment for all attendees including members of the Xavier’s Parivar. Alumni, current students, and staff participated with great enthusiasm to support the visiting students & celebrate the spirit of Uttarayan.

The students of Mamta school and Kikabhai Premchand School were also gifted with a small token of love. The event also coincided with the official start of the International Kite Festival 2026 in Surat, which is being celebrated across the city on this date.

This event reflects the motto of TEXAS – “A Xavierite is a person for others,” by fostering social awareness and providing a platform for service to the community.
