Mini-sports to celebrate Feast of St.Ignatius of Loyola

Every year the St.Xaviers High School Loyola Hall hosts a mini-sports event to celebrate the Feast of St.Ignatius. The staff,students,management and alumni members get together and participate in this event.

Games like tug of war, passing the parcel, short sprints and relays, sack race, slow scooter race etc,are generally on the card, and everyone participates with a united spirit. The School management also invites APX and staff members for refreshments after the mini sports event. This event establishes a great comradeship between the staff,alumni and management.

APX Blood Donation drive

Association of Past Xavierites (APX), the Alumni Association of the St.Xaviers High School, Loyola Hall Ahmedabad, carried out their Annual Blood Donation Drive on Saturday July 28th. Over a hundred units were collected.
 
APX carries out a lot of social related activities along with sports events & entertainment & cultural programs and supports their ALMA MATER.  St. Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall is committed to serve the society besides being an educational institute of the highest order. 
 
The Blood Donation Drive is a JAAI National Project, to be carried out in all our provinces between 1st Oct-31st Dec every year. APX carries out this noble activity annually to co-incide with the feast of St.ignatius and also supports the JAAI program by carrying out this activity in October along with other associations in Gujarat province.
 

APX Tree Plantation DRIVE

As decided in our JAAI GC meeting in Jaipur, APX ( Association of Past Xavierites,St.Xaviers High School Loyola Hall,Ahmedabad) carried out a Tree plantation drive on the School Campus on Friday 27th July. This drive was a Times of India Initiative and supported by Gujarat Ecology Commission.
 
The Government Ecology ( Govt. of Gujarat ) officials, Times of India representatives, and the Chief Income-Tax Commissioner were present to support this cause. also present were the school Management, APX members, Staff and Students of the Primary section of the School. Skits were performed and lectures given on the importance of preserving environment. Trees were planted on the campus, with a pledge that these would be maintained and taken care of. We have attached a photograph of our APX President Bobby Chudasama planting a tree along with school students.
