The St.Xavier's High School Loyola Hall ( Ahmedabad ) and its alumni association APX ( Association of Past Xavierites ) hosted the annual GARBA on the school premises, on Saturday, Oct 5, the first night of the NAVRATRI Durga Pooja festival.
Over 10,000 people joined in the revelry. The participants included the School Students, Staff, Management, APX members, friends and guests.The GARBA started at 8pm and went on till midnight, the time permitted by the authorities. This is an annual event on the APX calender. The students, staff and alumni members are given free passes by the gracious management. Tickets are made available for friends and guests. This covers the cost for the Garba and the excess amount which comes in, is utilized for the Institute and Alumni purposes. This is a great bonding event for the management, staff, students and alumni.
